Probably the best lobster I've ever had, and up there for the best tasting. Absolutely steal for this amount of meat for only 25 dollars (including pommes). The creamy maine roll was good, but the Connecticut butter roll was even better. Chowder was also good, not life-changing, but excellent taste and very creamy, it worth for its low price point. Very friendly, attentive service. The gentleman behind the counter ev... View all feedback.
What Mr McGhee doesn't like about The Corner 10th's Bbq:
First off you don’t smell any smoke in this place. The BBQ is SUPER Average at best! This place is for people that have never been to a true BBQ spot! The Brisket was Dry! The Rib Tips were so Skimpy! How can. Rib tip be skimpy it already doesn’t have meat! The Collard Greens are terrible! No season Under cooked!! The baked beans were tasty, the rolls were good also. The peach cobbler was underwhelming! The service w... View all feedback.
Clams stripes are amazing and the pommes are crispy. Love everything they serve, it so good and a great choice if you are looking for some seafood.
I come from Portland, Oregon.. and I am eating my way through the East Coast. So glad my husband found this spot because the hot buttery lobster rolls were amazing. We ordered 2 orders and it came with fried clams, onion rings, and fries. Hands down, best experience. I wowed when I opened the box, and I wowed again when I took the first bite. The bun was nice and crisp and it was super stuffed with thick lobster meat. My husband says the owner was the nicest he's met! I a million times recommend this place!!
The lobster roll was amazing. It was so flavorful. I would definitely recommend this if you are in Norwood. You can't go wrong. It's a cash only place and only for pickup. It's better to call and order. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes to complete an order. I would try a different dish another day.
The Take Away is a very unique little find. The restaurant itself is located in a residential neighborhood which makes it 's Mom Pop vibes 10X more adorable. The menu is one of the most diverse you 'll find anywhere, from the staple seafood (baked or fried to amazing personal pizzas (10 , subs, salads, Italian dishes, and the occasional owners specials like home cooked meatloaf. Bring cash because The Take Away is Cash Only, however there is an ATM at the store so you 're never inconvenienced. For the amount of food you get the prices are super low. There was one reviewer who said the portions run small either that 's fake news or the reviewer has an appetite matched only by an orca whale, see pictures here on The Take Away 's Facebook page. All the food is super fresh and they get shipments of fresh seafood multiple times a week. The fried food is heavy in a great way, if that 's what you 're craving. For healthier options they have a ton of baked dishes (chicken fish , salads, and sandwiches. The Lobster roll is literally a steal with the amount of meat they include! They usually have some great deserts too. The fried dough is deadly in the most amazing way. Best of all the owners Mark Cathy will brighten anyone 's day who walks through The Take Away 's door make you feel immediately at home :

Feels like a home town type of space, cannot recommend enough!
