If you get sushi everywhere in Long Beach, I had no better place than Sushi Ai. The staff was always friendly, and the fish quality is as fresh as possible. I especially love the Scottish salmon, and that Stinky Roll is worth every bad breath you have. The Spicy Shishito Paprika are brilliant, slightly scorched and pack all the garlicumami. My favorite sushi spot! Last two trips to California I've eaten there twice. Try the asparagus appetizer and anything else. The service consistently rides that nice line friendly but not overtaking your meal. Just a lovely and hip place.
Sushi Ai We had a lovely experience at Sushi Ai. We decided to celebrate a birthday with sushi and drinks. The food was fresh and attractively served. The wait staff was pleasant and courteous. The night ended with our birthday celebration dessert, which was made fresh: Tempura Banana with ice cream! Delicious! I would recommend this establishment!
