I gave this restaurant a one-star rating for the food because, unfortunately, they never delivered the order I placed through the app. This was just the tip of... read more I gave this restaurant a one-star rating for the food because, unfortunately, they never delivered the order I placed through the app. This was just the tip of the iceberg during my first and last experience at the Subway in Long Beach. I ordered two sandwiches for pickup and received a notification saying my order was ready (it was clearly marked as ready!). However, when I arrived, I was informed that they couldn't make one of my sandwiches because they "didn't have meat." This was confusing since both sandwiches I ordered contained meat, and I also saw them prepare a meat sandwich for another customer right before me! The staff refused to explain how they were out of meat when it was obvious they had some, and to make matters worse, the music in the restaurant was blasting so loudly that it was nearly impossible to hear them. They ultimately told us to cancel our order, but since it was marked as ready for pickup, we couldn't do that. Subway lacks a customer service phone number, only offering an email for support. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever paid for, and I didn't even get my sandwiches. I still haven't received a refund, and I refuse to return to Subway again—Jersey Mike's is far better, anyway.

It's clear they need to hire people who actuall... read more I had an awful experience with the employees on April 15, 2024. They couldn't even be bothered to heat up bacon. It's clear they need to hire people who actually want to work—there are plenty of options available. The management seemed nonexistent, the floors were dirty, and there were hardly any customers; now I understand why. I will gladly take my business elsewhere to a place that values its customers. Edit: If you're visiting Long Beach and are craving Subway, do yourself a favor and head over the bridge instead. The staff would like you to think that your only option for contact is through their website, which only reflects their lack of care about the store. Just Google the 800 number for Subway instead—it's obvious that these issues have been ongoing at this location.

Very rude and when I told her to put the bufflo sauce she barely did it and the buffalo chicken didn't even have sauce on it she just sprayed sauce on it.
