$14 cheese pizza for their 14th anniversary. Online ordering wasn't working for me, I called in and someone promptly picked up and took my order. Pizza was ready when I arrived. Classic NY cheese hit the spot. I added ranch but $1.50 is very expensive for the small side of ranch. Buttermilk ranch is very good. Parking: there were meters right out front, only 25 cents for 25 minutes. Parking structure nearby as well, first two hours free. I'd like to come back to try their other pizzas, especially the white ones.
What Delanie W doesn't like about Milana's New York Pizzeria:
I ordered gluten free pizza and wings on Sunday January 21st I received the food 70min late and it was the wrong pizza toppings. I called the store multiple times and no answer, I sent an email with pictures and no reply. I then disputed with my bank and over a month later someone from the store called and asked why I did a charge back. I explained and the person hung up, didn't offer to make it right, credit my acco... View all feedback.
The thin New York pizza was nice, but wow!!! THE WINGS!!! Most pizza places serve average wings, but not here. I'm not really a fan of the Sicilian 4-square, though.
I enjoyed a $14 cheese pizza in honor of their 14th anniversary. I had trouble with online ordering, but when I called, someone answered right away and took my order. The pizza was ready when I arrived, and it was a perfect classic New York cheese pizza. I added ranch, but I found $1.50 to be quite pricey for a small portion. However, the buttermilk ranch was really tasty. As for parking, there are meters right in front at just 25 cents for 25 minutes, and there's a nearby parking structure that offers the first two hours for free. I'm looking forward to returning to try their other pizzas, especially the white ones!
This place serves both pizza by the slice and whole pies. When you walk in, you'll see a variety of pizzas displayed behind the counter, ready for you to order by the slice, typically around $5 each. However, I think it’s a better deal to order a whole pizza, which averages about $30. I visited for lunch with my mom. I had my heart set on a white pizza (which I absolutely love), but a friendly staff member convinced me to try the Vodka Roni, featuring a vodka pink sauce with spicy pepperoni cups. Just a side note, I didn’t find the pepperoni spicy at all. In addition to pizza, they also offer pasta and other Italian dishes, all made with fresh ingredients that reminded me of my time in New York. I’d describe this place as a quintessential New York pizzeria, and I can confidently say it’s the best pizza I’ve found in Long Beach. The dough was thin and crispy without being burnt, the sauce was just the right amount—not too overwhelming—and it clearly had that homemade quality. The level of grease was comforting without making me feel like a total mess. Next time, I’ll definitely try their white pizza. The ambiance is nothing extravagant—just your typical pizzeria vibe—but it was clean, so I’m giving it a solid 5 stars. Customer service was excellent! The gentleman at the counter greeted everyone promptly as they entered and was incredibly patient with us since it was our first visit. He didn’t seem annoyed at all with our questions and took his time helping us decide, so he deserves 5 stars! Now, while the food earns a perfect 5 stars, I was a bit disappointed to find out I had to pay $1.50 for a small side of ranch. I’m not alone in thinking that ranch should come with pizza, or at least one should be complimentary. For two drinks, a whole pizza, and two ranches, our total was about $42 before tip. Then, I gave in and ordered their 10 garlic knots for an additional $13. The prices can add up quickly—I ordered the large knots in hopes of having leftovers for later. The menu mentions honey garlic knots, and when I asked if they could make them without the honey, they said it was no problem. Parking can be a bit tight, with meter spots available and some garages nearby. Fortunately, I found a handicap spot right at the front. They also have another location called Milana’s Brooklyn Squares over on Ximeno Ave.
I visited this place on Pi Day! There's a pie shop nearby, so I thought it would be fitting to complement it with a pizza pie. I was served by Jose, who was fantastic! The food was outstanding, with excellent quality, and the location was perfect for a nice sit-down meal.
I experienced severe food poisoning after dining at this restaurant. It seems they may be using old ingredients. There are definitely better pizza options in Long Beach.
