I usually go to Lupe's for their Oyster Happy Hour but decided to stop by this time for some drinks and an appetizer. I got the guacamole and o m g. I'm a little picky when it comes to my guac but this one truly changed my life. It was so flavorful and the portions were pretty good considering its price point! The small was enough to share between three people. Definitely coming back just for the guac! View all feedback.
What Marie B doesn't like about Lupe's De La Mar:
Unless you stop for drinks, I'd pass this place up for food.It was gross. I ordered some crunchy civiche. I had no idea what it was but the waiter suggested it. I think it was deep fried rice mixed with deep fried scallops. It was saturated in oil and just gross. Won't ever go back. I don't quite get the food or menu options and it was too pricey for the quality. Not worth it, which is too bad because it's a great lo... View all feedback.

This place opened at the beginning of the pandemic and I've been waiting to checking it out. So today was the day. I ordered the La Conejita cocktail, a bourbon and carrot juice drink. I was really surprised by how good it tasted. For dinner, I ordered theseared diver scallops. I was a little disappointed in the size of the scallops. It looked like they sliced a regular scallopinto three slices so they were really thin. But the sauce was savory with a bit of a kick. I also ordered corn tortillas, whichare hand made and delicious, not knowing they were an extra charge. At least the bartender was very cordial.
My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was amazing. We ordered the whole fish, grilled oysters, shrimp agua chili and crispy rice ceviche. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also great. I highly recommend thisplace to all seafood lovers.
Relaxed space with good food. I had my first Oyster here along with Chilaquiles and some Guacamole. Giving 4/5 stars because there was no indication the Tostada(Shrimp) had Habanero Pepper.
Awesome find! Everything we ordered was soooo good. Really eclectic mexican food. Got the guac, oysters, salmon, ahi tostada, mushrooms, and the pork. Drinks and service were great as well. A bit on the expensive side but worth the culinary experience. Compliments to the chef!!
