I love going to Hole Mole in San Luis Obispo for Taco Tuesday! It has become a regular routine for me to ride my bike there and enjoy some delicious tacos at a fantastic price. The Micheladas are also pretty good. View all feedback.

The carne asada fries (nacho papa nachos) at this restaurant are amazing, but their salsas don't complement the flavors well. It seems like they are more tailored towards Baja cuisine (I did not enjoy their fish burrito). Reliable spot for fish tacos, carnitas, and cold beer. The food is consistently good, though nothing outstanding. Outdoor seating during the summer can be challenging due to the presence of flies.
The carne asada fries at this restaurant are amazing (also tried the nacho papa nachos), however, the salsas did not complement the flavors well. I sampled all of them and felt that they were more suited for their Baja items (did not enjoy their fish burrito). I believe that if they simply offered a spicy green salsa (made by roasting tomatillos, serranos, garlic and blending them together), the fries would be 10 times better. This is the only reason I did not give them a 5 star rating, but I am willing to change my review if they add a good salsa to their menu.
Always a great place to eat. The potato tacos and the bean tacos are my favorite. I would eat here every day if I could. Don't forget to pick up some roasted peppers with your order, they are so worth it.
Sorry the pic is blurry, it's a screenshot from an ig story. Best fish tacos I've ever had. So well-balanced and just absolutely delightful. This place was a recommendation from the host of the airbnb I was staying at and I'm so glad I decided to check it out. It was 2.25 before taxes per fish taco, if I remember right. I regret only getting 2. I could have eaten 4, they were so good. Too bad I'm a tourist, but when I'm back, I'll definitely be visiting again!
