I honestly grew to love this place after a few disappointing experiences with Papa John’s and Pizza Hut. Domino's has always been delicious and reliable. I appreciate that their busy operations ensure that food is cooked on time and perfectly. View all feedback.
What Mia Saur doesn't like about Canadian Pizza Grill:
Ordered 4 Large Pizzas. Was disappointed with the lack of Pineapple Toppings on 2 of the Pizzas. It's like they ran out and stretched the leftovers. Left a BIG tip before picking up the Pizzas. Mistake View all feedback.
Make them ready to get extreme contact high. Canadian pizza grill is between 2 crowded bars. the road also has a heavy foot traffic (mostly homeless people). place order 1. in register (whether it is sold in or out). the dining room is open up to 30 minutes before closing time (it is the doors to the right of the area where they order placed and paid. the prizes are okay. ask for menu (large vouchers on the back to use...saves you 10-$20). dining room is a chaos. ladder, statues, boxes, fans, flour bags, service car, anywhere on the square. it would be nice if they were a little more proud at the place and kept it free (safe first). Good.... it was subpar. I'd rather buy frozen pizza. spaghetti was ridiculously disgusting. disappointed in the wings. somehow it felt like a sweat was playing on me and at every moment the actual eating would be brought out. pizza was strange. toppings were rubbery. sauce was good. crust was blah. I would rate the meat lover speciality a 3 out of 10. mango habanero wings might have been in order. they were not terrible. I would advise 4/10Spaghetti missing meatballs. too much sauce. pasta was boiled. I would be 2/10Service 3/10 (no plates, serviettes, forks or strays)Location, parking sucks 1/10 (they are parking in the back. they enter immediately left of the place). just one away and out. prices are ok but the quality is not worth 1/10Overall 2/10 (so, 1 of 5)
This place has the most AMAZING pizza I have ever had in my life! The pizza is not greasy, uses quality ingredients, the crust is also very tasty and not dry! The establishment is clean and staff is friendly ready to serve! I am a Long Beach local and have lived here all my life. If you are looking for a damn good pizza spot at a great price please go here! You will not regret it!
Plastic in our sub?! I never feel like I need to leave reviews, but this really has been a downer. First time I ate there I enjoyed the pizza. Then I try more and more and end up disappointed. Today I got the pastrami sub and there’s plastic in the sub! $40 for a calzone, large sub and cheesy bread!? The calzone is overcooked on the outside and raw in places on the inside. The last time I ordered there they forgot my salad I ordered, then came out with a dry salad and didn’t even offer me dressing. I had to check and then flag them down again to get dressing. The cheesy bread is so chewy that I can’t even finish it. Super disappointed. Much rather walk across the street to dominos than to attempt this again
Doesn't look like much, but it's a neighborhood fav! My boyfriend brought me here because he was craving pizza. There's parking on the street and they have a small parking lot in the back. There are seating outside and inside, but we ordered take out. Just a plain cheese pizza, but it was so delicious! Loved the almost burnt cheese on the edge of each slice, there's not to much sauce that would require me to scrape it off. Every slice was perfect. We actually ate the whole pizza between the two of us. Perfect way to end the night!
Here 's the deal. We 've been living LB for seven years. This pizza used to be the best solid basic pizza you could find in LB. Yes there 's artisan pizza on the rise here, but this has been a staple for us for years. Today we called for delivery. We very specifically asked for 6 ranches to go with our multiple pizza order. Somehow not only did it not make it on the check but it also didn 't make it to our house. Not the delivery guys fault but when we called to confront the situation we were met w resistance because it wasn 't noted on the ticket and then we were somewhat hung up on, I had to call back and was told it wasn 't on the order (which wasn 't our fault) and I asked the lady speaking to me, what are we going to do about this? And she was rude. I had to probe her to make it right, so now the delivery guy is picking up six ranches that we will need to pay for for the pizza. I get that times are tough but it 's more often than not forgiven when people act with grace. Additionally, the pizza did not taste like the OG a Canadian pizza. Probably not their fault because of sourcing issues but nonetheless, the pandemic has caused an array of issues, and one of them is the attitude of employees and lack of kindness! Okay pivot: the lady at the store had the driver go get it from another pizza place around the corner and had us pay 6 bucks for it. There are no words. Probably should have just comped it. I 'm in sales myself and I know what it means to make things truly right for the client. I guess at the end of the day the ranch was delivered. Good luck!
