Cafe Piccolo - Long Beach

We're thrilled to share that we've been visiting Cafe Piccolo since it first opened. Every appetizer, entrée, and dessert we've tried has been outstanding! The service and atmosphere are top-notch. I must admit, I only recommend this hidden gem to my closest friends and family because it feels so special to me—it's like "our place." Ha! Oh, and don't miss the lentil soup; it's a necessity!

The minestrone was absolutely delightful, the scampi was amazing, and I was so taken with the decor that I didn't even mind the plastic chairs! My husband also enjoyed everything on his plate; it was a joy to see the happiness on his face as he ate. Everything was perfect, including our charming waitress, Marissa (I hope I remembered her name correctly!). The only downside was my disappointment at not being able to take any minestrone home with me since they had understandably run out.

My husband and I have been visiting this restaurant for years. Ally and the owners consistently provide excellent service, a friendly attitude, and a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen staff is also fantastic at accommodating special requests and creating unique combinations that delight the palate. This place is perfect for a lovely date night, group gatherings, and especially for celebrating anniversaries and birthdays. While reservations are always a good idea, walk-ins are welcomed just as kindly. Much love to everyone at Piccolo!

Absolutely wonderful experience. From the atmosphere to the food. I had the goat cheese chicken� absolute must have.

Celebrated my wife's birthday here because she loves the outstanding food, decor, and service! The pastas we all had were amazingly fresh and flavorful. The patio was adorned with lights, firepit, and fountain. The manager, Mo,(apologies if mispelling), accommodated our party of 8 with pleasant conversation, picture-taking, and personal attention to any/every need we had as a group. We liked the ambiance so much that we stayed until they closed the restaurant. When that happens, you know you've found a gem. Cafe Piccolo is a GEM!!!
