What Hobart Boehm doesn't like about Bixby's Brooklyn Deli:
Good is bout fresh, and fries are frozen... I would expect a little more from a deli. It also mention Jewish style, but more cheese burger with bacon doesn't sound so Jewish to me... View all feedback.
I am a little fanatic when it comes to pastrami, and have sampled a large number of inspired sorts in the united states. To be honest, I was a bit sad that I had not found a place close to the best pastramis I had elsewhere, which changed when I visited bixby’s brooklyn deli. while I was eager to open the restaurants, I tried to keep my expectations low. I didn't want my hopes to be too high, just to suffer unnecessary disappointment. during my first visit it didn't take long to get me on the bixby special, a sandwich that made a thousand island dressing (home made,) coleslaw (home made,) cheese, and a choice of cured bark or pastrami on roggenbrot. the koleslaw is crispy, bright, and balanced tangie and sweet aromas perfect. the brot plays a huge roll, with the crust with a crispy, and the brot is dense and chew, and full of taste. it adheres well to the moistness and the baptism of the other ingredients. you may be inclined not to know better to believe that I now move into the rich of poetic hyperbole, but I am not. the pastrami is, without doubt, the best I had everywhere. they obviously start with very high-quality meat, but the preparation (a secret for me) must include a kind of magical process, where it serves with a subtle vegetal sweet, which serves as a frame for the considerable succulence and fleshy taste. I'm not one who is prone to flights of imagination, so today I have brought one of my dear friends and a pious pastrami lover to bbd for the first time. as I was also skeptical and almost insultingly dismissed from my affirmations, but as soon as he took his first bite of her pastrami, his belonging changed and he was an immediate convertor. I haven't explored her entire menu yet. her potato salad is very good, and they serve amazing pickles. they also make cheesecake that is easy to die, and their carrot cake is also amazing. both are done in the house, I think. they also serve excellent bagels. I was sowed less on her pastrami and eggs, as it seemed to dry the pastrami more than I like. I also heard her matzobrei is good. the waiting staff is very polite and attentive. for the budget remembering, the prices are perhaps a little on the high side, but sharing a sandwich and ordering an additional side works well for my wife and I. I am excited to have a place so close that really understands how to make pastrami right. I've been back many times and look forward to tasting your whole menu.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with their delicious fresh deli sandwiches. The bread had a freshly baked taste and I especially enjoyed the country club sandwich with pasta salad. The customer service was top-notch and truly one of the best I have experienced.
At a random visit with my gf. the first time. I have a bixby special. it was a good sandwich, added garlicries because it sound good. couple dinge on the pommes, a they tasted like Ore-Ida b garlic parmesan was not fulfilled. fries was not a deal breaker, only no fan. and to finish I got brotpudding, she got 18 karat cake. it was great to go brotpudding! server was also great. will return.
Flavors that triggered beautiful vage remembrances. something about the old world meat, old school care, traditional delicacies, classic menu options, timeless brand of cheese, so that, senf or service that reminds me of downtown la or new york 30 years ago. this place has sneaked my senses into thinking that I was located on another one, and another time.
