Had our Valentine’s Day dinner here and it had some of the best filet mignon I have ever had! Perfectly cooked and served with sautéed mushrooms, sautéed spinach and a remarkable croquette. To drink we ordered the peach sangria and it was delicious! Place turns into a lounge after dinner and man was that poppin! View all feedback.
What Cindy doesn't like about Alegria Cocina Latina:
Alegria is such a lively place. I loved my food and my server attended well. I didn’t like my seats. My seat was ripping and the corner seemed more occupied with people lining up for the bathroom. View all feedback.
We celebrated my wife's birthday and had such a nice time. The food was great and sangria was flowing. The Flamenco dancers and Spanish guitarist we're great. We will definitely go back. The only thing I would say is the drinks were a little expensive. Fifty five dollars for a pitcher of sangria is a touch high.
The Alegria Nightclub has always been a great place to do to in the Downtown area of Long Beach. We have been there several times to enjoy the the live salsa music and tasty sangria. The dancing floor gets packed with a lively crowd. So many fun times to be had here.
I really wanted to like this place. It 's cute and quaint looking from the outside. The menu sounded delicious. Unfortunately I made the mistake of visiting their UNISEX restroom before the meal. All I wanted was to RUN. Do you remember that bathroom scene in Trainspotting with the sign that says The worst toilet in Scotland. The sign here said The worst toilet in Hollywood. Ok, not really, but it easily could have.
A lively bar with loud music (a little too loud at times). The drinks are pretty expensive but the staff is friendly. Not a very large space but it was fun regardless.
Great staff very nice and attentive to the customers. Our waitress was awesome. Drinks and nachos weren’t that good. Not worth another trip
