Every time I fly out of Long Beach, this is my go to for a glass of wine before the flight. There's something so nice about leaving the job behind, switching gears and getting in vacation mode. It's delightful sitting outside on the patio and enjoying some sun or sitting inside at the bar. There is a delightful woman who is usually working the bar on Friday afternoons. Very nice, I feel like Norm in Cheers, like regu... View all feedback.
What Michelle B doesn't like about 4th Street Vine:
Horrible service and experience. Rhianna was the rudest waitress. We ordered from the bard and she said we could sit outside and play cards. It wasn't allowed. However we asked other bartender and a security card and said there was no such thing. View all feedback.
Airport bars are airport bars... But this can be one of the best in the whole country. How often can you sit outside under the sun... have a margarita and watch airplanes all land in a cool, upscale comfortable place? I don't know any other airport bars that are even outside. For these reasons, I sometimes try to get to Long Beach Airport a little early so I can sit in the cool room and chill until I'm ready on board my flight.
If you are at LGB Airport and need to get your pre-flight drink, the 4th Street Vine Wine Beer Bar is an A-OK option.... No food was available at my Covid-19 visit. However, there was a friendly bartender who quickly cared for the drinks of all. She had a game and I appreciated the hectic around the bar. The weather was very nice during this visit. We were more than happy to sit outside. Many people observe how people go to/from the gates. Many outdoor seating with flat-screen TVs with sporting events. The IPA on Hahn were fresh and ice cold. The wine selection was quite impressive for an airport bar. All cocktails were expensive to expect at an airport bar. If you have time to drink at LGB airport, the 4th street is a good option. Friendly service, fresh beers and well-designed cocktails await you.
No price list. I ordered the same 2 drinks twice, but odd fees a different amount
Bartender didn’t give us a menu…just rattled off types of wine. Glass of Pinot was $20 and Glass of White was $18. Rip off.
Shabby. The outdoor seating cushions are filthy and stained and the outdoor gas flame heater is unmaintained and a mess. Folks, appearances matter. Spend the $300 and clean up your establishment. Have you no self respect?
