I loved every dish I tried at this restaurant, but I keep coming back for their chilaquiles. The coffee is also fantastic, and if you're a fan of spicy food, be sure to take home a bottle of their hot sauce. The staff is always willing to accommodate any special requests. What User doesn't like about The Grain Cafe:
I ordered the French toast which came with a side of fruit. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with milk that was gritty. To be honest, the service was just as disappointing as the food. View all feedback.
This place is great! all Vegan..All organic and they even have gf and soy free options.
Man alive I tell ya that was the best vegan tuna melt ever. Good tuna has been illusive to me being vegan and they knocked it out of the park. The pumpkin waffles...*chef's kiss*... delicious. I highly recommend going here. The folks there were very nice and friendly. Lastly... y'all... they have vegan jerky that is divine. I got the mild spicy flavor. I think im going to get some as a holiday present for my brother is it so good. The only thing I could say is their tofu scramble was a little bland, and not a very large portion. Still tasty, but not as good as mine.
We came for the vegan breakfast and both ordered the breakfast burrito. It was tasty but nothing amazing. I've definitely had much better vegan breakfast burritos. They were a little dry and didn't have a ton of flavor. Not a bad place if you're in the area though. Updated from previous review on 2021-09-24
Outstanding service. Great homemade coffee and the food was superb. We went back 2 days in a row on our visit to Long Beach.
We found this cool cafe enroute to San Diego. The menu is extensive and the food is delicious. We ordered a soup special which was heavenly. I had the Reuben, which was the best vegan Reuben I ever had. My husband enjoyed his burrito.
