What Hilbert Nicolas doesn't like about Mt Whitney Restaurant:
I stopped here for a quick bite. the service here is terrible to say at least. there are literally two underground inexperienced children who serve orders and eat. eating takes 45 minutes to get out of a slow day. eating is mixed and old. portions are decent. the prices are ok. would not recommend this place to a friend View all feedback. Definitiw overpriced to tear visitors in this small town. the service was pretty bad and the food was already cold when we could get it out.
Service was great, eating was very tasty. fish and chips were a great choice, burger on point and beer beautiful and cold.

read moreMt. Whitney restaurant in Lone Pine, CA offers a variety of American dishes on their breakfast and lunch menus. The breakfast options include pancakes, waffles, eggs, omelets, and a specialty dish called steak picadillo, while lunch offerings include burgers with the option of a veggie patty. While some customers enjoyed their meals, others found the food lackluster and overpriced. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere with cowboy movie décor and is dog-friendly. However, some customers complained about slow service and unmasked staff during the Omicron surge. Overall, Mt. Whitney Restaurant seems to offer decent food, friendly service, and a unique dining experience for visitors in the area.
