Contribute FeedbackBlack Olive offers a mix of opinions with their food and service. Some were underwhelmed by the average pizza and donairs, while others found the Lebanese cuisine to be authentic and delicious. Customer service seems to vary, with some experiencing rude behavior and others praising the friendly staff. The restaurant also had mixed reviews on pricing and delivery service. Overall, Black Olive seems to be a hit or miss spot for those looking for a taste of Nova Scotia or authentic Lebanese cuisine, but some customers truly enjoyed their experience and delicious food.
We live close by and thought we would it give this place a chance- glad we did!! Very good, everything fresh and good for the price. Will be back.
We felt it was better before, close to our house.... Donairs where a nice addition, although could have been larger
A very quick hop and skip to this local Shawarma place. They make the best ever and certainly at a decent price!!
Pizza average, could have been better cooked a little longer, ordered 2 donairs, again I was underwhelmed....Cost was vague, we paid $11.99 for a XL and 2 donairs came with only a pop.Should have asked if it included a side, I assumed, fries cause I had read a flyerPrice was $32. Plus tip. Delivery was maybe 6 minutes away
First off their customer service is not the greatest, after I ordered via another website, they called and informed me that they had new owners and the rules about ordering for delivery had changed. You either ordered $25.00 worth of food or you pay a $10.00 Delivery charge(sorry but I never pay any restaurant $10.00 to deliver a meal! The Delivery charge is outrageous and the owners should be ashamed of themselves for gouging the London public!). I was asked if I wanted to increase the cost or cancel the order. So I canceled it, they called back 2 min later to tell me they would honour the original delivery charge of $6.00 for my order this one time. I've wanted to find a place in London that serves authentic Nova Scotia Donair's, after living there for several years it is a something I crave often. Well they have no idea what donair is if they call the **** they sent me a Nova Scotia Donair. The Flat bread was wrong (it was too thick and flavoured) and the sweet garlic sauce was all wrong (thankfully there was little of it on the donair). This is not a place to order Donair's from if you have ever been to Nova Scotia (or elsewhere in the Maritimes) and had donair. I will never order from this place again.
