The Abbey - London

Tried one item in the menu and was a little disappointed. Still there are other items in the menu I want to try.

Really good catfish dinner. Sides were a bit too salty for me. Bar tender was super friendly.

I really wanted to give the Abbey restaurant a good score being a hometown eatery... sadly NO!! First of all...the music was soo loud we were unable to carry on a conversation with each other OR the server. The atmosphere was more bar like than that of a restaurant!! By the end of our meal I couldn't wait to get out of there!!! For my meal I had the Reuben sandwich with fries. The Reuben sandwich was good but GREASY!! The fries were COVERED in seasoned salt!!! My husband had the Cobb Salad with grilled chicken. Although he never thought he would ever say this... it needed LESS chicken and more salad and the guacamole had no seasoning. It also needed more dressing which he could have gotten for an additional charge!! A sandwich and a salad $40. We were disappointed with our overall experience of eating at The Abbey!!

Service was horrible. Good food. Place wasn’t even busy and waited an hour on our food and then a hair was in it. Then waiting another 20 minutes for another burger.
