Contribute FeedbackA popular Italian restaurant in London has garnered mixed reviews from customers. One reviewer was disappointed after being a regular customer for 7 years due to a reservation issue. However, another diner praised the truffle cheese pasta and amazing calamari, along with impeccable service. The restaurant is described as having friendly and attentive staff, delicious food at cheap prices, and a lovely atmosphere. Despite a recent poor service experience, other customers enjoyed the good quality food and excellent wine selection. Overall, Vicino seems to be a popular choice for Italian cuisine in London, with some improvements needed in terms of customer service.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The staff was attentive and helpful without being overbearing. The food was served promptly, despite it being a busy night, and was delicious and authentic. I accidentally left my scarf behind, but was able to retrieve it on Monday thanks to the staff who remembered me. Thank you.
Surprisingly not friendly service. only chips were in order.
Fresh and delicious food with warm greetings. Large portions and great ambiance.
After being loyal customers for 7 years, we will never return to this restaurant. Despite requesting a reservation and a high chair for my baby, we arrived to find the chair given to someone else and an empty table prepared for another family. The manager insisted he had to know the mother of the other family in order to give them the chair. Who says that in the hospitality industry? All customers should be valued. Thankfully, there are many other good Italian restaurants in the area. We are extremely disappointed and do not feel appreciated as regular customers. Perhaps we were not as valued as we thought by this establishment.
The food and service were fantastic. I am really looking forward to trying out the Christmas menu at the end of November.
