Tim's Bistro - London

This is an excellent restaurant and if we are in the area again we will be going back , the waiter (med and owner were both excellent and made us both feel relaxed and the food was excellent we both had a 3 course meal and a bottle of wine , I also had a glass of red wine with my steak, and the final bill was just under £70 which was excellent considering the quality of the food ! Could not recommend highly enough ! Little gem of a place .

Fantastic service, wonderful food and reasonably priced. Not much ambience but this suits us well as we like to dine in a quieter environment, also means that the service is more personal. Will certainly be visiting again.

The restaurant has an acceptable selection of dishes, though not overly extensive. To our surprise, we were the only patrons on a Friday night at 7 PM, and only two more guests arrived during our visit. We opted for the set menus, which, interestingly, were not supposed to be available on Fridays. Our meal included a shrimp starter, a small fish cake (the portion size was quite modest), and a delightful vanilla ice cream for dessert. Everything was tasty, and our total came to around £40 for two adults, which included half a carafe of the house red wine and a bottle of water.

Finding parking was a challenge, but it was well worth the effort to walk to the restaurant. The staff were friendly, and even though it was quiet when we visited (very early on a Sunday evening), the two staff members who attended to us were outstanding and took the time to chat with us. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return if I'm in the area again.
