The Life Goddess - London

The Life Goddess is a Greek deli just off Tottenham Court Road, where I came for dinner one Saturday night.

I usually come here just for a coffee, one of the better lattes I have & at a reasonable price, but today I felt like ordering something for lunch.

I came for lunch with a friend, food was good, excellent choice and no pressure to eat a lot at lunch time which was welcome. Good value for money and house wine was fine. I’m noise averse so difficult for me to comment but it was really no noisier than any popular venue. Service was excellent, friendly and not pushy, Greek coffee a bonus.

I booked this restaurant for a lunch with work colleagues to mark the end of the year. The staff were very friendly and accommodating but I was concerned that they appeared to have 'lost ' our booking, despite the fact that it was booked and confirmed online with OpenTable. This would make me apprehensive about using this service to book again. The food was good but fairly basic Greek fare, with some choices unavailable and others not enough, so people had to chose again. My colleagues and I enjoyed the meal though. On the whole I would recommend the restaurant for ambience, it has character and is clean and friendly. I think I would need to go there for different times, for example, an evening to be able to comment fully on the services/menu offered.
