Contribute FeedbackThe Joint restaurant has received a mix of reviews from customers, ranging from disappointment with the food and slow service to great food and cocktails, as well as friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Some customers were not satisfied with the service and food quality, noting issues with cold wings and slow service during peak times. Others praised the food quality, accommodating staff, and fun atmosphere, especially for large groups. The overall experience seems to vary depending on the day and location, but most customers agree that the food is a highlight of dining at The Joint. Whether you're looking for a casual meal with friends or a family-friendly dining option, The Joint offers a range of options to suit your needs.
My friend and I stopped by this restaurant before heading to the 5-minute walk to Ritzy Picturehouse to see Barbie. As broke college students, we decided to split an order of 6 wings (£10) and fries (price forgotten).
The service at this restaurant was terrible and the coffee was bad, but the food was good. We waited a long time for brunch, and even though another table that arrived after us got their order taken first, we didn't think much of it at first. However, after waiting nearly 20 minutes, we all had to ask if our coffee was on its way. Our coffee finally arrived 5 minutes later for the other table, but we still had to wait another 15 minutes for our food to come out without any drinks. The other table even commented that we weren't missing much with the coffee. When our coffee did arrive, it was the wrong order and tasted bad (like burnt milk). The food was tasty, but a bit cold. I would recommend avoiding the coffee here and suggest staying away when it's busy because the table service needs improvement.
Happened upon The Joint strolling through Broxton Market. How lucky were we! Amazing food (best wings ever). Fab portions and great value. Will be back!
Visited the Joint at Greenwich Peninsula Golf Range, as we were in the area and the website looked great. So we walked all the way there which from the tube station is half a mile alone, but from the emirate cable cars were further away. We got there just before 12, not particularly busy, no work being done in the kitchen, staff chatting looking at mobile phones at the bar, inattentive to customers. Might be as they don’t have to bring a menu or anything and you are expected to order by mobile phone. We have two children and once we managed to get their attention (which was a struggle) we asked for a ‘high chair’ for our toddler. They looked at me like I was an alien and the man went and got a tall stool. Didn’t know what I was talking about, and didn’t have a high chaie. This is no good for a restaurant next to a mini crazy golf range aimed at kids. Was starving and we had to leave as it was not family friendly so didn’t get to there. So a heads up to anyone with kids, don’t bother with the walk. On the way back you’ll end up hangey! On the plus side ate somewhere else which was nice, but really annoying.
We were served by Fabio and from the moment we glanced at the menu, he made us feel completely at home. He had such a charming, welcoming energy and spent the evening attending to all guests with the same care and attention. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would recommend to all!
