The Gurkha's Flavour - London

I used to really enjoy this place. However, it seems that there have been some changes in ownership recently, as both the menu and staff are different now. The food was bland, the choices were ordinary, and the service was terrible and very slow. Even the house wine tasted like it was made from diluted grape juice. I definitely won't be returning.

I used to use this restaurant a lot, but went back for the first time in over a year for a takeaway. This used to be a superb restaurant in terms of food quality, the curries being freshly cooked using fresh spices. The Dhansak I had was oily and lacking in flavour. I asked for it vindaloo hot, but I might as well not have bothered. I can only assume it has changed ownership as I am sure the previous owner would not have let the food quality go downhill so badly I will not bother returning again.

I had a groupon voucher to visit this restaurant and I was not let down. The food was delicious and the service was great. However, the restaurant is not always very busy, so at times it feels like you are sitting in someone's living room and need to keep your voice down. Despite this, I have been back a few times and if you can overlook that, you will have a delicious evening out.

Home delivery quick but average food don't think Id order again .There was nothing wrong with it but quite bland for the this kind of cuisine.

I've tried a lot of different Indian take aways before and this is by far my favourite. I've ordered many take aways from here and each and every time the food is flawless. Looking forward to my next meal from gurkhas flavour!
