The Guinea Grill is a lovely place for Sunday Lunch. Seating is a bit tight but the service was good and food lovely. A bit pricey, but it is in Mayfair-so to be expected. View all feedback.
What JamesL doesn't like about The Guinea:
Great pies but the format has changed in recent years as they are now served in a dish so its only pastry on the top and not the sides . Maybe for health reason that makes sense. Wonderful ale house. View all feedback.
It was my first time to eat traditional British cuisine, and I must say the quality was top notch! From meat to vegetables we were so happy at the end of our meal, thrilled by 3 different desserts (my favorite was bread and butter pudding). It is worth the money you spend (yes, it is a bit expensive).
The pub here alone is incredible. The small menu they offer gives you full stomach. You have a wide selection of beer. The bar staff is top notch and very friendly. If you have the opportunity to dine in the restaurant, make sure to come hungry. All we've eaten here was fantastic. Our waitress was so helpful and gave great recommendations.
Love it here! Really great beef and great sides! The atmosphere is perfect for a nice meal and good wine! Something expensive, but it's worth it!
Was seated upstairs of the pub for lunch for a group of 6. Table was set up nicely. I ordered the rib steak on the bone for £45. Medium rare with peppercorn sauce. It was cooked well and it was delicious! Plenty of meat for me. Sides were great especially the chips! Wasn't a fan of the creamed spinach I think it has a herb or spice I'm not used to. Broccoli was also tasty. Would rate 5/5 if it wasn't so expensive
