We used a £25 voucher that covered a drink and 3 courses at the restaurant. Personally, I don't think I would have been satisfied paying full price, as the portion sizes didn't seem to match the prices. The presentation of the dishes was good and most of the food tasted delicious, but I was surprised to find that the menu didn't include any dairy or eggs by the time we left. The plating or food presentation was nice, although the dishes were not pitch clean. We had to wait one hour for our main dish, which I do not mind if it is worth it. However, the Katsu Curry was disappointing: not crunchy, but rather gummy, as if it had been half-cooked some time ago, and the sauce did not captivate me. Had the gnocchi perfect, wonderful truffle sauce chocolate orange was great prizes in the sound with great london cuisine
Burger was incredible. Gnocchi a piece of art, literally! Very happy with the friendly service too.
Felt healthy without being obviously so. Absolutely delicious food that really hit the spot. Tried the faux gras, bun, katsu curry. All five stars. Colleague had the gnocchi and raved about it. Hope we can come back on this or the next visit.
This place offers amazing vegan food from a ‘high kitchen’ range at very reasonable price. We love coming here and have no doubts you will too!
Really enjoyed our visit to The Gate. The food was tasty and service attentive and friendly. Looking forward to visiting again to try other options on the menu.
