I always receive a warm welcome here; it's a wonderful pub with a fantastic atmosphere, thanks to the amazing staff and owners. It truly feels like a real Soho pub, perfect for engaging conversations while you spend a few hours people-watching. The chicken sandwiches on New Year's Day were absolutely divine! lovely upstairs bar filled with happy drinkers. downstairs was way more crowded space with hardly room to move. bottle of house white was £22 which is reasonable for soho drinking establishment. the clientele were very broad spectrum and the bar staff were very accommodating to our party of 3 wishing to sit at a table that was reserved for larger parties. very good venue with chilled music in the background that wasn... Beautiful French bistro/restaurant, the staff was very friendly! rotating menu classic French dishes, steak was great! the chef came out and had a chat and told us his favorites and gave some background on the restaurant, was an amazing experience!
Today had a wonderful lunch on Saturday. great staff, a beautiful atmospheric dining room and all three courses only on place.
Loves this pub! real French vibes with excellent British snacks. I've never been to this authentic side of france. my favorite cidre in bottles and big bottles as well. perücken, Scampi-Fries and Speck-Fries. beautiful atmosphere. excellent staff. I could just spend a whole day in this bar
This is an atmospheric old pub with lots of history. The decor has not changed for years, it was a favourite of veterans returning from fighting in WW2. Used to only serve French wine, but now serves a variety of beers, ciders and spirits. It is popular and can be a bit of a squeeze but we'll worth a visit. There is also a restaurant upstairs.
It’s been my favourite bar for over twenty years, and I’m so glad it’s (barely) changed in that time. Lovely spot either inside by the windows or outside, to have a drink and watch the world go by. New food menu is excellent and the Breton Cider is always a treat. Usual no pints, no mobiles rules and all the better for it.
