The Crabtree is beautifully situated along the Thames, just downstream from The River Cafe. It features a large garden, a charming glazed colonnade, and a riverside frontage shaded by a weeping willow. We highly recommend the prawns in chilli hot oil and the toast topped with tomatoes and onions, both of which were so delicious that we ordered them again for Sunday lunch. The Sunday roasts, complete with all the trimmings, were also delightful - whether you choose the beef or pork, you'll enjoy a traditional Sunday roast experience. A truly exceptional dining destination, as praised by Fay Machsler of the Evening Standard.

What Maria Kaiser likes about The Crabtree:
the portions we had for sunday roast with roasted chicken and vegan wellington were really abundant, the roast beef was a bit smaller with only two pieces of meat. the garnish was very abundant as well and overall it was very flavoursome and enjoyable. really recomendable but must book in advance as it is very popular View all feedback.

I went for lunch and had a good experience with both the food and service. However, I found the prices to be a bit on the high side.

There were 3 of us on a table for 2 so room a bit cramped. eat and service very well, although our eating arrived before our drinks.
