I am not sure if there is a new pizza chef, but the quality has definitely improved! The food was already good, but now it is amazing. The new menu is also delicious, with the arancini being particularly enjoyable. It is a very relaxed and pleasant place to spend time during the day, especially if you have a stroller with you as there is plenty of space and the staff are very accommodating. Booked for our group assuming it would be busy in a pub on a Friday (had been a few years ago and remembered it as a great pub). But at 8:30 when we arrived, it was empty. No atmosphere and the same children’s party music (S Club 7) that had been playing when I’d popped in earlier that evening.
