What User doesn't like about Thames Foyer:
our afternoon was great. the sandwiches were enormous and the babbles were divine. only a moan I had an escallop for extra and was charged £10 plus service for just one escallop. Come on! View all feedback.
The perfect spot for a special occasion. Yes on the pricey side but food is deceivingly filling, there is always the option for extra sandwiches should you require. The deserts are exquisite, the drinks divine and although staff are very attentive and topping tea cups throughout it is in a way that is unobtrusive and you do not ever feel hassled or pressured. A beautiful happy birthday note and cake with candle complimentary which was a lovely touch. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and courteous without being too much, the piano was an excellent addition to the ambience of the room. Would not hesitate to return.

Amazing service and ambiance for a special occasion! Piano player was a nice touch.
Great service, lovely surroundings. The sandwiches could have better variety, I'd say I was expecting better quality. Scones were great, the pastries looked great, but tasted average at best. The biggest issue was the smell fried food, and food in general which permeated into the foyer, I believe the smell came from the restaurant next door. That really ruined the experience for me.
Afternoon tea was our 25th Wedding Anniversary present as we got married at The Savoy. It was just as wonderful as I remembered , we were hosted by Sai who looked after us superbly, we had champagne with our delicious finger sandwiches, and then tea with our light fluffy and warm scones and the cakes were delicate and flavourful, I especially loved the apple compote. The pianist in the centre played perfectly, encompassing everything from Opera to Disney, she was a particular highlight for me. My only complaint old be that it is far too much food for two people, however the wonderful Sai then brought us a lovely doggy bag to take it all home. Ps thank you Sai for the lovely note and cake for our anniversary, it was very thoughtful.
