Welcome to the heart of rugby, twickenham. I was not very familiar with the game itself so a few friends of uni decided to introduce it to me by myself for a day in twickenham. the second largest stadium in Great Britain after wembley, who sleeps, breathes and eats rugby. but I had to eat something else, and I can't quite remember how we reached this street, but as far as I could remember, there were no other restaurants all over this stretch. so thai on thames was the standard choice we ordered a £8 combination plate of appetitors, of which I only garnel some and fish cakes that could get nothing from the ordinary. Excellent genuine Thai style eating and good service. often visited by local thais and praised for quality. to finish a good Thai meal, they try the Irish coffee thai style made on table. the whisky kahlua mixed coffee is absolutely fantastic.

I was going to Thai Upon Thames on the last evening of my parents' visit. The service was very good, we were served by a very friendly waiter, who understood our food preferences and also concerns about potentially too spicy cuisine. The served food was very tasty and the atmosphere was nice!
