Thai Square Putney Bridge - London

We booked the pre theatre menu which advised 2 course for £19 provided ordered before 7pm we arrived 630pm they first refused to honour the menu booking despite my e mail confirmation (we booked in Feb and confirmed several times then they finally agreed after ringing head office but gave us a £21 set menu and the guy was pretty rude about it. We did all order a cocktail and paid the £25 tip and gave the table back by 8 pm but left a sour taste to be honest and wouldnt go back to this branch of Thai Sq in Putney again

The food was fat and appeared precooked. it was far too expensive given the quality of the good. I had much better Thai food for a quarter of the price in ground restaurants. the Thai square restaurant was a demolition and extremely disappointing, we will never go there again.

We usually love this restaurant, but we were disappointed. poor service of employees who did not know about the menu and also the menu seemed quite limited in comparison to before.

We enjoyed our meals and eating and the waiting staff were excellent. but when leaving the restaurant, we asked if a taxi could be called, and the man at the reception looked at us vaguely and told us that there was a taxi there and his arm turned around. there was no taxi rank, he could not be disturbed. this spoils an otherwise enjoyable evening.

Lovely atmosphere great view of the water and the bridge all lit up. Food was delicious, staff very friendly and helpful will definitely return again.
