What simonnwuk doesn't like about Sushi Bar Tokiya:
I went here for Valentine’s Day meal. The service was terrible and I had to continually catch the eye of the owner And I’m sorry to say the food was very bland and overpriced. I had high hopes for this restaurant but sadly I won’t be going back. View all feedback. What Jannerbloke likes about Sushi Bar Tokiya:
Nassuming exterior and general flavour but a welcoming and popular sushi restaurant. Well worth looking in if you are walking down this largely pedestrians street. View all feedback.

Having moved to London from Vancouver, I've been searching for a sushi joint that is a bit more authentic.
I wish my local sushi stop was a bit more adventurous but then again I have to remember where we are.

read moreTokiya, a cozy family-run Japanese restaurant in Clapham, has garnered a mix of reviews from its patrons. While some have complained about the slow service and high prices, others have praised the authentic and delicious food, prepared by a chef with over 30 years of experience. The restaurant is known for its fresh sushi and traditional Japanese dishes, with some customers comparing it to their experiences in Japan. Despite its small size and quiet ambiance, Tokiya seems to have a loyal following, especially among families who appreciate the personal touch of the husband and wife team. Overall, Tokiya offers a taste of Japan right in London, making it a favorite for those seeking genuine Japanese cuisine.
