I enjoyed with my man, an absolutely wonderful dinner here yesterday evening, it was wonderful. the team in the kitchen is obviously very talented and innovativ, and we ate every single piece of the generous portions of food they have prepared, even knowing that we would be...ful to burst. the croquets made me feel like I was back in bilbao, the black garlic that came with the delicious roasted artichoke, as I was in valencia, and the hammock to share as if I didn't want to be different, but eating there, just now all was brought to us by a wonderful servedam that made us feel very welcome and home in the warm, comfortable dining room. Moreover, the beer is good, and the value-to-quality ratio is excellent. I had a brilliant time, thanks to a million people involved. we'll be back.
Hidden over st John’s atvern by falling and it was an absolute victorious great eating, weeping and beautiful staff. we had an unexpected and beautiful evening.
Great since the pandemic to be back in our favorite gastro pig. fabulous samstag mittagessen grandiosen. mollie archie pamper our dogs as always with tasty water. sticky date pudding was fabulous.
The st. john’s tavern is a top pub, perhaps a tad to top market for my personal taste, just a few minutes walk from the railway station archway. they are happy to serve only drinks, but this is really the kind of venue they would go for a high quality meal instead of just a drink. and eating is very good, with an interesting and varied menu. the service was fast and efficient, although the location at the time of our visit was quite quiet. the most important courses were excellent, but the star of the show must be her sticky date pudding with ice cream that was really amazing. there were three ales to offer, including the excellent locally brewed five points xpa.
