Contribute FeedbackA comprehensive review of the restaurant reveals a mix of positive and negative experiences. Some diners were disappointed with frozen food and slow service, suggesting overcrowding and inefficient staff. Others praised the authentic and delicious cuisine, claiming large portions and tasty dishes. The ambiance received positive feedback, with dim lighting and thoughtful decor enhancing the dining experience. Despite inconsistent service quality and some menu discrepancies reported, the restaurant remains a favorite for authentic Sichuan cuisine among Chinese patrons and non-Chinese diners alike. Fans of spicy and flavorful food may find this establishment a hidden gem worth exploring.
Remains a favourite with my Chinese friends and always a go-to place, but I feel the food quality has recently dropped. The pesky and disgruntled service is a given for the place, but sometimes a little bit less curtness would go a long way. Not what it used to be.
When we dined here it was still called Sichuan-Folk. We have been regulars since it opened, whenever we are in London. Authentic Sichuan cuisine in a comfortable neighbourhood setting. Highly recommended
Great spot. Awesome staff who try not to make you over order. Just be aware if your booking via Open Table you have to pay by cash. On this occasion the staff were lovely even though we didnt have enough for a tip. Food is immense had dishes which I tend to turn my nose down on as they seem like local takeaway go to dishes here, but here they were amazing!
We had the hotpot which was excellent value for money £22.80 each for a generous variety of meat, seafood, vegetables, mushrooms and noodles, all with free refills. We had two types of broth, and were able to mix our own hotpot sauces out of a wide range ingredients, which added to the fun of the evneing. Definitely recommend!
Excellent food and service would definitely reckoned
