I haven't found a great spot in London that offers a classic Chinese hotpot quite like this one. I just had dinner here with my partner, and we were thoroughly satisfied with £30 worth of delicious and fresh food. I highly recommend it because the service is excellent, the food quality is top-notch, and it's very reasonably priced for central London. We'll definitely be back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Shuang Shuang:
booked for 12 o'clock when it opened, arrived on time and was told that they were not open. return in 15 minutes and not yet ready . it was really disappointing as it was for a 50th birthday, so it went on where we ended. View all feedback.
Overall is okay but some meat are so so, seem not fresh much, btw, price is still expensive than value that I got
1st visit but it wont be the last! Highly recommended. Terrific food and staff were great. Thanks
Very cool concept, delicious broths, but the add-ons (especially meat) is not of the top quality.
I've always enjoyed Shuang Shuang because of its unique concept! It's easy, you can eat whatever you fancy and you don't need to wait for the kitchen to cook it. There's minimal interaction with staff, which may not be perfect but it doesn't matter. The broth is delicious and selection of food is extensive. I think the idea of having your own hot pot is genius and although sharing is the traditional way, I prefer to have my own.
This place is tiny! If you dine here you will be crammed next to other diners with little space to yourself. The restaurant doesn't even have it's own entrance and you have to walk through a fast food joint to get in. Clearly they are spending a lot of marketing to promote their tiny restaurant. You can find more spacious and better value restaurants elsewhere easily.
