This was a birthday treat for my wife and as we have had dinner at Searcy's St Pancras a number of times, but not for a while, it was nice to be back. As always, the food and service was superb. A couple of comments on my starter that may have enhanced the dish a little more, but that was just a small point. Overall the quality was exactly what you expect from this superb restaurant. Very disappointing experience for us for lunch on a Friday. Service was disorganised, slow, our mains had been forgotten and we had to ask again for our side dishes. Both the mussels and salmon were overcooked and dry. Very expensive for what you get and there are much better places in the area. View all feedback.
Outstanding food and great service felt very welcomed in arrival
Wonderful from beginning to end. Absolutely superb in every single way above all, the service is so supreme, a very rare thing nowadays. We had Sunday brunch, and will be back asap. Congratulations to everyone involved.
The restaurant is in a great location, but the food was just okay. The service was good and the prices were a bit high.
When we arrived the restaurant did not have our booking even though I had responded to the text message they had sent to confirm. The second issue was that they had allowed us to book at 11.30 but the kitchen was closed between 11.30 and 12 to allow them to reset between the breakfast menu and the lunch menu! That all said however the staff were lovely and very attentive the food was delicious and we were served drinks before 12 as they ‘didn’t need to go to the kitchen for those’
The service is always excellent, and the Smoked Salmon is fantastic.
