Great place to have Dim Sum in London. Highly recommend their Cheung Fun with Shrimp. Staff are overall friendly and helpful, albeit slightly chaotic during lunch time when the restaurant is very busy. They tend to be pricier than the other Royal China on the same street, but it is reflected in the fancier restaurant and wider menu choice. View all feedback.
What Zahra Berling doesn't like about Royal China Club:
ROYAL CHINA CLUB Baker Street -staff not nice especially the lady at the front desk she was absolutely rude- ordered food was served sweet and sour chicken without sauce or vegetables and charged £23.00 which was not on the menu also a small bottle of coke £11.00 how ridiculous -they just did not want us there we could feel the animosity towards us -I do not recommend this restaurant they are racially biased. Not dese... Great dim sum selections in a centrally located spotThe more upscale branchBeware of ordering even simple items that aren't on the menu.
There's no push cart, the tea is not free, the dim sum menu is not the most extensive out there.
I like being able to reserve a table here at Royal China Club unlike the Royal China up the road where you need to que. Food is high quality and while some say too pricey I find it worthwhile. Great Duck. Amazing lobster and crab specials. Big groups can share at round tables
The peking duck was excellent almost matching what I would have in Beijing. Daily soup was fantastic although feeling that it's not worth the price paid (their restaurant next door serves the daily soup at half the price per head and it's just as good). Vegetable was a standard affair, with the tofu a bit of a twist from the normal version they serve next door.
