Red’s true barbeque is one of the newest BBQ joints in shoreditch, on the great eastern street that opened its doors in summer 2015. Food was okay, but I'm not really impressed. Pricing was really steep. My companion had the double bacon cheeseburger. Smallish portion, actually, compared to expectation from the menu description. He wasn't asked how he wanted his burger cooked and it came well done. Skin-on fries were a disappointment. The Pale Ale beers are marvellous, And the pulled pork is a piece of art. A little pricey, but typical for London and the area. Friendly and quick staff too.
