...the restaurant had a great buzz to it and was the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious meal.

On Thursday evening past this restaurant with my friend with the intention to go to another tapas restaurant on the street. we have changed our minds when we saw the people spy out of the restaurant and the incredible atmosphere. the environment is intimate and warm. the loud music that plays in the background only increases the experience. we shared the arancini, pizette with brasaola and rocket and the spicy pork and fennel balls. the highlight for me was definitiw the meatballs that I absolutely love the combination of pork and fennel. highly recommended! the love of living

The food can get a bit pricey for what you get, but for a tapas style experience it's a good bet. Busy in the lunchtime rush, and a comfy place for an evening outing. Little precious, but the food is high quality.

But what I really love about Polpo (and the rest of the group) is how much fun I always have when I go. They all have such a relaxed atmosphere, the waiters and waitresses are always smiley and helpful but never pushy, and I love ordering a load of different things to try for the table. Polpo’s fairly static menu is still a winner. It’s made-up of simple things done with bags of flavour, so you can go back again and again. Going with a group of friends is the best plan of attack, as you’ll be able to take a wide selection of the small dishes and pick and choose what you want.
