I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this restaurant is. The atmosphere is fantastic, the service is unforgettable, and the staff is top-notch! I never thought I would find a place like this outside of San Francisco, but this restaurant is truly outstanding. The food is the best I have had since arriving in Great Britain last week! What Anonym dislikes about Plot:
The food was very mediocre, I had been expecting better (especially for the price point). Some dishes were bland, some over-flavoured (hake with anchovy not sure staff knew who had ordered what. The best dish was the oysters but at £8 for 2 they were very poor value. View all feedback.

Alright, let's start with the mixed points: it's expensive! The portions are small (you basically need 2 to 3 per person depending on your appetite). Tooting Broadway Market, although improving, does not meet the standard for this type of food/atmosphere. Now, let's focus on the positives, because they outweigh the negatives: The atmosphere is really cool. You sit on high chairs with a view of an open kitchen where you can see everything. The staff is very friendly. The food (the most important aspect) is amazing. The ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality. The dishes are creative and the flavors are well-balanced. The menu changes regularly and is well thought out. Yes, it's pricey, but it's truly a gastronomic experience (even at Tooting Broadway Market). In conclusion, if you are a food lover, I would definitely recommend trying it at least once. I was initially skeptical due to the prices, but after using a Time Out discount and experiencing the restaurant for myself, I can say that it is worth it and I highly recommend it.
Simple but great taste combinations well done in a rather unusual setting of a market. So do not expect cosy candle lit tables, but either a place at the marble counter or on one of the benches in the corridor. Second time we have been here and again not disappointed at all.
As you wander through the rough indoor alley of Tooting, you may come across this hidden gem that is unassuming in its small size and location. Despite its surroundings, the food at this restaurant is of top quality in both ingredients and flavor balance. I still think about the delicious meals I had there, ranging from the good rump and cod fish dishes to the outstanding toast beer bread, moxons tuna caesar, and brownie. This is a place for true food enthusiasts looking to discover exciting and authentic dishes. If you're there for the food alone, it is definitely worth it!
Very nice little place in Broadway Market. Quite busy on Fridays so bookings are essential, but you can try your luck with 2 people if you get there early right on 18:30. Do try sitting at the bar to enjoy the atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful staff, the chefs accommodate for allergies very well. Really good modern British food; small tapas style plates, so 2 dishes is a light meal.
A gem and rising star in tooting. An open kitchen leaves the chefs with no hiding space. Action in the kitchen is almost theatrical, each act is meticulously performed. Good British seasonal menu, fresh produce and flavoursome. Guinea fowl wild mushroom pie was our favourite. Herb crusted cod was so well cooked and delicious. Wish we were told about the specials at the start, by the time we learnt we have sampled almost everything on the menu. We will come back again. Thanks for the lovely meal

Fabulous little find met the hands on owner fairly new establishment wish them well would highly recommend! Wonderful food freshly prepared great night!
Amazing food and enjoyed sharing our food. Useful to be able to chat to the chef to slightly adjust a meal and overhear her advice to others on cooking cod. Almost got another Truffle Mac n Cheese as desert it was so good. Great to see local drinks too, with Belleville Brewery present.
I cannot overemphasize how amazing this restaurant is. It has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional staff! I never expected to find food this good in a hidden alley outside of San Francisco, but this place surpasses those expectations. It's the best meal I've had since arriving in the UK a week ago!
Delicious food. We had a fantastic evening, the staff are very friendly and happy to talk you through the dishes. We particularly enjoyed the harissa lamb and the scrummy rhubarb panna cotta. We will definitely be back.

I consistently return to Plot for their ever-changing menu, which keeps things exciting with new and delicious options every two weeks. The staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable. While the market where Plot is located is bustling and lively, it can be quite noisy, so if you're looking for a quiet meal out, this may not be the best fit.
This was our 5th visit to Plot. We really this restaurant. They seemed to be slightly under pressure on this visit, but it was a busy Friday night. This is the first time that the food was anything but perfect . It was only one of our plates that disappointed , the sardines . One of the 3 sardines was not really edible. The rest of our food was delicious, especially the Pork chop with pair, soo good. It would have been nice if a slightly bigger apology had been offered for the Sardine. Will definitely be continuing to visit Plot as one of our favoutrite restaurants
Great food as always. They sensibly operate a very limited menu, and we did find a few things we didn 't really fancy this time (oysters and another dish of fois gras) which limited the choices somewhat, but the quality of what we did have was superb. We did feel that £14 for one of the 'small plates ' was a bit punchy but most felt decent value.

Second visit to this great little place to eat. Group of friends so we shared each of the plates on the menu great food, well cooked and delicious. Great wine choices too everything you need for a relaxed evening with friends.
I always come to plot. I love how the menu changes all 2 weeks, which means that it always try something new and tasty. the personal is always friendly and very well informed. the market is a super vibrating place, but is quite loud, so if it were after a very meal, that would not fit.
