What Marie Lisa doesn't like about Min Jiang:
The place is pleasant with a nice view above Hyde Park. The service is very dedicated and agreeable. The food is delicious. We came several times. However, at our last dinner, the dessert “Sago mango” for which I had an amazing souvenir was tasteless with no texture either. You could barely tasted the mango and there was barely tapioca in it : Need to come back as it was ! Oh and I forget, the egg fried rice with veg... View all feedback. What Phillip Kucera likes about Min Jiang:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Min Jiang restaurant and trying their amazing Peking duck. The presentation was impeccable, and the taste was even better. The skin was perfectly crispy, and the meat was juicy and flavorful. The dish was served with thin pancakes, spring onions, and hoisin sauce, which complemented the duck beautifully. read moreMin Jiang, located on the 10th floor of the Royal Garden Hotel overlooking Kensington Gardens, offers a mixed experience for diners. The service is excellent and the view is spectacular, making it a great place to dine. The specialty Peking Duck is highly recommended, with many diners regretting not ordering it. The food quality is generally good, with some standout dishes like dim sum and the signature duck shell. However, some diners feel that the menu could offer more variety, and improvements could be made to certain dishes like the second course of the Peking Duck. The restaurant itself is in need of renovation, and cleanliness could be better maintained, including in the toilets. Despite these drawbacks, Min Jiang remains a popular choice for many diners, especially those looking for authentic Chinese cuisine with a view.
Make sure to order the Beijing Duck! It is fantastic.
