Popped in for lunch on way to train. Delicious food and warm and charming service. Vegetarian side dishes a delight and two lamb dishes simply delicious. Had to rush for train so asked for leftovers to be packed up and also bought an additional Korma... View all feedback.
What mistersabz dislikes about Meraz Café:
Seems cheap but it’s really extortionate when you consider the abysmally small portions. To be fair, the curry was nice, but only 6 small chicken chunks. The worst of it though was the “starter for 4” they have 4 small style samosas (the ones you can buy as frozen at about 50 for £5) and 4 seekh kebabs… for an eye watering £18! Our first meal in London set the bar REALLY high for the rest of the trip! We had curries, korma, naan, biriyani, kebab, samosas, and everything was
On a rainy Tuesday the touting is not quite as extreme along Brick Lane, but I dragged my friend up the road to my secret Indian cafe my heart sank when
Came here based on reviews from yelpLet me just start off by saying I'm glad I followed the ratings because the food here was bomb.
I'm London bred, and I have had so many Indian meals, and here is the best. Firstly the food, it's amazing! The taste and care from the basics to the complex. Even the poppadoms dips are the best I've ever tasted. My wife who has travelled India many times thinks it's amazing and was asking to get the recipes for various sauces. Then there's the staff, so accommodating, personable and friendly. For walking twenty feet off the track of brick lane, the reward is immense. You want the best Indian in London?
