The food was good, but the service was terrible. The staff were inattentive and the food took forever to be served.

Everything we ordered was super good! from the samosas to the chili-carrier to the chicken butter and Dhal-Mkhane! we also enjoyed the chai tee with the gulab jaman! a must taste Indian restaurant place!

We visited Mala Indian Restaurant in Canary Wharf last Saturday. I had a booking for 19:30 and they kept our table ready by the river side. It was a fantastic view to have while eating. The service was quick, even though the restaurant was very busy and following all COVID guidelines. For starters, we ordered a mixed platter of lamb seekh kebab, fish, and a vegetarian cutlet, all of which were fresh and delicious. For the main course, I had the butter chicken while my spouse ordered a vegetarian thali, which included a variety of dishes including a delicious okra masala. Our 4-year-old daughters enjoyed their meals as well. We also had a few drinks... Overall, our experience at Mala Indian Restaurant was delightful and we would definitely recommend it.
