Service can be spotty but the staff is friendly. The staff is friendly and the menu offers cricket-inspired names. The food is solid, though dessert was a bit underwhelming. Prices are reasonable for London. The venue is not overly crowded and the atmosphere is pleasant. The tavern is a great spot for sports fans looking for a relaxed viewing experience.
The average rating for Lord's Tavern is 4.1, which means that the customers have a very high opinion of this restaurant.
I used to be in this tavern. the staff is very warm, helpful and sweet. the beerhahn always change as they receive very few ales and stouts each time. the lagiers change, the ipas also see new brands coming, as I tried every time for new beers. for a vegetarian the veg burger is very helpful. the sections are large and dull. this has been worth repeating simply for the cricket played all day, it is directly behind lords cricket ground and they can sit all day, drink and eat for their free time. there are old timers who have served in military, played cricket that are becoming more frequent chatting and swap struggling with them. they have not tried...read more
The rest of the meal was just as good as the starter – super fish and chips (with real, fat, homemade chips) and a wonderfully naughty treacle tart with dipped cream. dads choice of steak and chips and jam with custard went down as well. it is very rare that I say that, but the meal was faultless. while the menu is not as inspiring as they do, they do well – brilliantly cooked, British pub classics.
Good selection of beer and very friendly atmosphere especially on playdays. they can also catch a few more tricks. they always play the games live on the screen, so when the masses get too much inside, pop into the tavern for a pint until they are ready to go back.

The Lords tavern is modern and light in their facility, but for a pub that sits next to one of the oldest sports areas in the city, you are quite lacking in tradition. the actual virtuous of the place is for sport fans there are at least five widescreen TVs that can all be tuned to different games. at a busy weekend of the games you can watch two or three games simultaneously while enjoying a pint. eating is a standard pulp, but very good quality of Sunday roasting is a special highlight. the staff is very friendly and its normally quite empty, so they can always get a place. if they struggle to decide whether to see the rugby or the football if the two conflicted, I would recommend...read more
