We visited a charming tapas and wine restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. We opted for outdoor seating and enjoyed the last rays of the evening sun. The hosts were very friendly and polite, making us feel welcome. We ordered a bottle of rosé, which wasn't quite to our personal taste, but we're looking forward to returning and trying something different next time. View all feedback.
Blown away from this place. we tried a series of directed and everyone was exceptional, not to mention the great wein and excellent service. I can't wait to come back.
Another amazing night! There are some restaurants that just get everything right L'Oculto is one of them. The food is innovative, creative and exciting and the service is exceptional all members of the friendly team are knowledgable and passionate about food and all of the ingredients they alchemically craft into the most mouth watering, delicious dishes. Pure magic and well worth a visit.
Amazing food Amazing service Shout out to Teresa as well as the lovely lady that served us toward the end of the night.
Table of 7 on a Wednesday evening, 1 vegetarian, 1 pescatarian. We had the whole menu (bites to desserts) plus a couple of repeats. The place felt Spanish and had a great atmosphere. We experienced attentive and friendly service with a good wine recommendation (we had 5 bottles of a very tasty rose, and a bottle of lovely dessert wine). The espresso martini was just ok. The food highlight was the jamón ibérico I've never had anything that melts in the mouth like that before. The pork atop the first plate of paella we ordered was also delicious. A leek dish was also very nice; their flan was lovely; and the party were positive about the hake. However, on the whole we found the food a bit over salted; inconsistent throughout the evening the second pork paella was overcooked; and a bit underwhelming. Thus, when the bill came, the experience felt a tad overpriced at c. £80pp. I'd be happy to go again (mainly for that ham), but I'll be more selective in the dishes I order.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere and staff brilliant, the wine by the glass however didn't match up, especially given the overall cost. All in all though we had an excellent evening.
