What sfio doesn't like about Le Pain Quotidien:
The menu at this restaurant is consistent with other branches, offering breakfast items, open sandwiches, and a few warm options. The seating is communal, where guests can sit at large tables with others or at smaller tables if available. While they do not offer soya milk, there are other plant-based milk options for coffee. I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan pain aux raisin and croissants at this restaurant. They also offered vegan porridge, granola, and avocado toast. I didn't explore other meal options as I only came in for breakfast as an alternative to Pret. The coffee had a choice of plant milks, and the hot chocolate was delicious. I enjoyed my pastry and would come back again if there were no fully vegan options available. The restaurant was spacious and had a relaxed atmosphere, with many people working on their laptops. The service was good, although the prices were a bit high.
I have dined at Le Pain Quotidien in multiple countries, including various locations in London. I usually choose this restaurant as a backup choice, especially for business lunches (pre-COVID and now that they are starting up again) or when there are limited vegan options nearby. My go-to dishes are the vegan avocado toast and the vegan lentil/dal dish. The presentation of the food is always impressive, but I find the taste to be just okay. There are plenty of other superior vegan restaurants in London, so if you have the time while visiting, I recommend exploring more unique options instead of this international chain. However, if not, Le Pain Quotidien is a decent choice that will get the job done.
We were looking for some vegan desserts, they had only chocolate cake and blueberry muffin, both not very good. They have oat milk and almond milk for coffee.

It felt comfortable and relaxed and I was happy with the service. On the expensive side.
