Contribute FeedbackThis restaurant has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have complained about rude staff, slow service, and high prices, others have praised the fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. The noise level can be off-putting, but the authentic Italian cuisine and friendly waitstaff make it a worthwhile dining experience. With a mix of positive and negative feedback, it seems this place may be hit or miss depending on the day. Visitors recommend requesting a table in the tented area for a more peaceful meal and enjoying the authentic Tuscany cuisine. With a variety of desserts and a great selection of dishes, this restaurant offers a true taste of Italy in the heart of London.
Very diasappointing dining experience in an overprised restaurant. They are selling tables at the Restaurant entrance where you feel like dining at Victoria station apart from the chilly wind that accompanies your dinner. Food was goodbut some has been served cold. Changed on request. We had a three course meal and we were out of the Restaurant by 21:22. This is definetely far away from an Italian dining experience. Everything was rushed, service more than mediocre and nobody even asked if we enjoyed our food. Leaving the Restaurant we were told Arrivederci! This is when I told the concierge that this is most likely not to happen. He wasn‘t even interested to find out why. It is a pitty for such a lovely location.
Food was very disappointing some dishes were almost inedible. The restaurant is trading off its historical goodwill.
Welcome: perfect. Service: perfect plus. Food: Perfect plus. Two minor 'niggles ': Table 21 (I think) is freezing! Our plates were stone cold. The 'niggles ' aside there is no doubt whatsoever that this is THE BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT in London.
One of the most expensive and average lunches you will go to. I spent £132 each! On lunch. And the service was slow. Honestly don’t waste your time I couldn’t believe the bill.
Returned to this generally very reliable Italian restaurant with a welcoming family feel on this occasion for a business lunch and it didn’t disappoint. Fresh ingredients and attentive and friendly service. The lobster spaghetti main course and octopus starter were tasty and well executed and the tiramisu was a substantial portion and as good as I’ve had. It’s the sort of place that if you happen to live nearby and you take the time to build rapport with the management and staff it pays dividends and they will look after you (I like to think I’m getting there). Would like to take my children for longer weekend lunches once they are a bit older.
