Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant on Kings Road offers good cocktails and ok sushi, but some dishes are disappointing. The back room is not ideal for groups, with slow service and forgotten orders leading to some patrons leaving hungry. Food quality is average, with standout sushi but subpar pork. Service can be disorganized, but the location is funky and worth a return visit. It's recommended to split ordering appetizers from main courses to avoid dishes arriving all at once. Prices are standard for the area, and while the experience may have some flaws, the food remains a highlight for many patrons.
The restaurant is closed but OpenTable has not been updated.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years, ever since it was just a pop-up. Unfortunately, my last visit was quite disappointing and did not meet the usual high standards I have come to expect. The food was not as well executed as before, with signature dishes like the walnut candied aubergine being sloppy and not as good as I remembered. The cocktails were delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive, but for the price, the food did not live up to expectations. The overall ambiance felt flat and more like a canteen than a restaurant. While I had a nice evening with my friend, it just wasn't as good as it used to be, especially considering the price. Hopefully, it was just a one-time issue.
Food was nothing special, tempura tasted like was fried in the same oil as the mushrooms which made it taste horrible. Sushi seemed ok even though the rice was overcooked. Place was ok and good cocktails from the bar, pricey but standard for Kings road.
The food was tasty, but the location was noisy and the prices were too high, especially considering that we left the restaurant still feeling hungry.
As always great food in funky location. service could be a bit more organised and seemed a bit more chaotic than usual. however, still a fantastic place that we keep on coming back to. just a heads up that dishes can arrive rather quickly and all together so it can make sense to split the ordering of appetizers from main courses
