I made the trek to London for this place and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is excellent, and it's definitely worth it—above all, it feels very inviting! View all feedback.
Excellent noodle and smoked soup. cures my morning sickness:! always return to camden.
This is the best ramen noodle restaurant in London, definitely!
My new favourite restaurant in Camden! Had such a great night here. The staff were lovely, and didn't hassle us to order quickly. Had a great selection of Japanese and international beers. The gyoza were delicious and we were impressed with the tasty ramen. It's off the main street, so quite easy to get a table without booking. Enough diners inside to make an atmosphere without feeling busy and bustling. Will be back!
We had the Gyoza dumplings and a tofu stir fry and a seafood dish for a main course. We had sake for a drink. Everything was superb, the only minus point from my point of view was the time we had to wait for the food the restaurant wasn't full but it was probably 75% full and I think a few of us turned up at once. Great flavoursome food, with a miso soup thrown in, was a nice touch. One of the best Japanese restaurants in London I'd say...
I have a confession: I’m new to the ramen scene, and mostly my experience has been underwhelming. I had been to both Shoryu and Tonkotsu, and I found both of the bowls of ramen to be overpriced and boring. The tonkotsu broth was rich and fatty, but so incredibly bland that the only thing that could save it was adding about half a container of chili sauce in order to give it any sort of interesting characteristics. And I was paying something like £14 for what, ultimately, is boring noodle soup. I mean I know ramen is really popular in Japan, but I’m pretty sure they don’t charge the equivalent of £14 there. (Maybe I’m just naive about it. I don’t know. So when some of the Boozy Bunch thought Ramen Wars would be a fun idea, my response was a giant “Meh”.
