Absolutely loved our experience at Jamavar, one of our top all time dining experiences. Every single dish was exquisite (I particularly recommend the lobster nerulli and the sorbet dessert), service was very good (polite, informative, attentive). I would be very hard pressed to fault the experience. In terms of price obviously it is a very expensive restaurant, however not more than I had expected and I did not feel... View all feedback.
What GailM doesn't like about Jamavar:
Benares it certainly isn’t. Food was luke warm, plates were cold. No ambience. A screaming out of control child made the first 5 minutes unbearably noisy so much so that we very nearly walked out. The sewage smell in the basement level was unpleasant. We were not made to feel valued or special. The visit was to celebrate my husbands birthday which I put on the booking notes however in the speed to get us to leave the... View all feedback.
An absolute MUST visit! From the reservation booking team to the exceptional floor staff the experience was magnificent. Everything we ordered from the menu was scrumptious and even did a takeaway bag right at the end! Lots of parking on the street outside and also easily accessible by London tube system. Have already highly recommend it to friends and family!
Decided to randomly make a booking to this place after hearing that the food was good. We went on a weekend but it would have been better if they let you order from the regular menu instead of 3 course thing. The food actually tasted good but the portion sizes were tinyyyyyyyy and there was some random lady that kept watching us for no reason which was kinda weird- if you're seeing this don't stare at random people
I had a Lovely experience in Jamavar. The service was very good with friendly staff, the atmosphere is charming, it would be great for dates! Especially at night. The food was luscious and astonishing. The prices were a bit above average, but overall it’s good

This is the best restaurant in the city! The quality of food is worth every penny. Mouth watering flavor, ambience is amazing, very friendly and humble staff. A must visit. Only suggestion is masala tea was not good and could have been better! It wasn't well flavoured! Additionally, the quality of milk (seems like it's prepared using milk powder) wasn't good. Compared to quality of food, tea could have been better. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
