It's rare to find a pub in London that truly lives up to its reputation, but this one does. The name itself makes it a must-visit spot. With one of the best selections of beer, attentive staff, and a warm welcome for tourists from Londoners, it has maintained its charm for over twenty years. A delightful experience all around! What Nigel H doesn't like about Hung Drawn Quartered:
This bustling Fuller's pub in London, located near the Tower of London, shows signs of age and heavy usage. The men's restroom lacked a proper means for hand drying since the hand dryer fuse had been removed, and there were no paper towels available. The taps were also misaligned. However, the staff were doing their best to manage the situation. View all feedback.
This Fuller's pub is just a short walk from Tower Hill and is named after the executions that took place at the Tower of London. The interior is quite impressive, as it was formerly a bank. I enjoyed a London Pride, a beer from their brewery, which always hits the spot.
The food is excellent, and the English ambiance is delightful. The staff is experienced, and the location is fantastic, rich in history. However, I was disappointed that there was no decaf coffee available for me after my meal.
We made an online reservation to enjoy dinner at one of Tower Hill's popular pubs after reading its reviews. However, upon our arrival, it was clear that the pub was packed and our table wasn’t ready. We decided to try their tasting board, which featured three pies and three beers, along with fish and chips. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh. After having dined at some fantastic places in Europe, we left feeling let down on our first night in London. I would recommend skipping this spot!
Glad to find a pub with Fullers ESB. Having been misinformed by another fullers pub that it was no longer made! The beer taste great. The food looked really good, in this stately looking building
Popped into The Hung Drawn Quartered Pub EC2 cos we disembark at Tower Of London Walked into this pub I liked the menu some veggie options but it was trio of mushrooms with spinach shortcut pastry sauce gravy and mash potato. Glad I had the mini vegetarian pie otherwise I certainly wouldn’t be able to have the afters, the banana tart tatin with stick toffee sauce it was sublime very rich but well worth it to have this sweet btw us!!!
