We were at St James Palace for a presentation. The location was excellent only 2 mins walk. The food was good pub grub, nothing fancy but well cooked and tasty. Excellent value for money, good service and easy to book a table on line. View all feedback.
What Carrie doesn't like about Golden Lion:
Lovely, traditional pub with lots of atmosphere. There is a cosy upstairs dining room. However, the food was a bit underwhelming and the service a bit vague. perfect destination for drinks, though. View all feedback.
This pub has become a fixed point for many years in my schedule. great, friendly staff, well maintained beer and a decent menu to boot!
Nice friendly bar. stopped on Saturday afternoon and was welcomed by very pleasant staff who were interested in talks and make sure a nice atmosphere to enjoy a great pint (the many iondon pubs did not have ... gay quiet staff not interested! . would definitely call again if in the opposite liquid sunshine ale was delicious
Well equipped in good condition with a good atmosphere and excellent service, decent choice of beer and laying.
