We booked for Easter Sunday lunch based on the special menu which was reasonably priced. The courses allowed for a good choice and the roast beef was very good. The lamb however should have been better, it may have been left on the plate too long and was tough to cut. All in all good value for what we had and a good experience again. View all feedback.
What Jodie Salter doesn't like about Galvin at the Athenaeum:
An amazing location overlooking Green Park easy to get to from Victoria. We took advantage of the business services side of the hotel and hosted a strategy day. The service and staff were amazing, friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended for business and leisure. View all feedback.
We were in this facility several times. although the service is very good, they had forgotten that it was our jubilee, although mentioned on the booking form. the place was very quiet and very tired look. food was acceptable, but not exciting.
The service was slow. it took about five minutes to see and sit, and it wasn't too fast after I was afraid. that said the service was polite and friendly. the afternoon was good, I enjoyed it! overall it was average.
Excellent service. eating was very nice, but the menu was not very exciting
Great service. Fabulous food. Good looking restaurant in a central location. Very enjoyable and would definitely return again. Set menu price is excellent value when booked through Open Table.
Another excellent lunch at the Athenaeum. Really good food and selection from the set menu. Service was as we expect from this restaurant, really good. We will return.
